This Rabat Process anniversary publication highlights the milestones of 10 years of Euro-African Dialogue on Migration and Development.

From the origins of the Rabat Process to future challenges, this publication builds on interviews with key stakeholders that have shaped the dialogue, in order to draw lessons learnt from a decade of exchanges.

Rabat, 15-16 June 2015, hosted by Morocco and co-chaired by Spain. 

Under the co-presidency of Morocco and Spain, partner countries shared their experiences in the area of asylum and international protection to identify ways to strengthen and develop national protection systems and to improve regional cooperation in the Rabat Process region.

A Senior Officials Meeting, co-convened by Morocco and Italy, took place in Rome on 26 November 2014.

Partner countries negotiated a draft ministerial declaration to submit to the upcoming Fourth Ministerial Conference.
